The Best-Wittenbergs

No, joke! That is their name; and it also happens to be true.

We were so thrilled to do this wedding for our friends, Annika and Jacob. It was a beautiful backyard wedding at the groom's family home out in the greenest cuts of Ashland City, TN - and for once, the weather was absolutely perfect. I had the pleasure of spending the day onsite witnessing the entire family come together with all the DIY goodies (including homemade baked goods from the mother of the bride and starters from the groom's kitchen). Crankee's Pizzeria was there with their beautiful truck serving up the best pies, and there was even a surprise firework display (nothing short of spectacular) to kick off the dance party! The entire day was so fun, the wedding was so stunning, and there was so much love in the air. Congrats Annika and Jacob!

Nick & Katie at King's Chapel

A sweet and quaint one for the books! This couple (and their crew) were full of life and love. The pictures say it all! Congrats, Katie & Nick!

American History at The Hermitage

History buff, Stephanie, and her fun loving counter part, Alex, had a very specific vision in mind when they planned this amazing wedding at Andrew Jackson's Hermitage. It was lush, it was historic, it was a fun party!  See more on Burnetts Boards.

The "Wright" Stuff

We asked Meghann what the theme of her wedding would be and she emphatically said "Flowers!" Thats our girl! This was the second wedding GreenFinch did for this amazing family, so they knew who to come to for just the "Wright" look. Thank you, Meghann and Chris! We loved every bit of your day.

Jazmin & Matt's Wedding at Southall Meadows

This wedding was so cool! Romantic, festive, and DIY. GreenFinch curated the table scapes of collected Mexican tapestries, colorful plants in terracotta pots collected from the porch and garden of bride, cacti, mini terrariums, and bright lanterns. We made some of our most favorite bouquets and boutonnieres for this one. It's no wonder this wedding was featured on  The Tennessee Bride. The tacos and the band were equally delicious! Thank you for letting us be a part of your day behind the scenes and as guests! We wish you all the best, Jazmin and Matt!

In the GreenFinch design studio

We have been up and running in the studio for just over a year now. Figured this would be a great time to give y'all a sneak peak of where we do all the dirty (and pretty) work. This is a space that inspires us  - a place where things get pretty silly after too many hours - and a space we call home. Special thanks to the lovely and enormously talented, Sarah Sidwell, for capturing our studio and spirit. We are looking down the barrel of a very bright year.

Cannery Ballroom

Ooof! What a stunner of a wedding! Cannery One was a warm and rustic backdrop for such a beautiful ceremony and reception. The space was incredible, the details were perfect, and the ring bearer wore fur (Woof!). Thank you, Hillary and Spencer! Your wedding left us breathless...

Happily "Elder" After

A beautifully sunny autumn day set the scene for a perfect wedding at Saddle Woods Farm. It was one of the rare occasions where GreenFinch was not only a vendor, but a guest at the wedding as well. We loved every minute of this day filled with family, friends, great weather, dancing, and laughter. A simple and rustic cedar barn wedding for a youthful and light hearted bride and groom. This was one of our favorite weddings we had the pleasure of working on in 2015. Rebecca and Jurel Elder, thank you for letting GreenFinch be apart of the team of vendors (and guests) that made your day so amazing.

Here's to you both and living happily "Elder" after!

Katerina and Andrew at the Wren's Nest

"Do what you love and you will never work a day in your life." ... those are the words that inspire those of us that take that leap of faith and set out to make a living doing what we love.  I am one of the fortunate ones. I have had the opportunity to work with lovely couples like Katrina and Andrew that make me so very grateful I took that leap.  Their wedding day was the perfect, touching and intimate celebration of their love, family and faith.  The couple served communion to each guest, a highlight of the ceremony for the couple as they were able to hug and thank each guest personally. The ceremony was a mix of modern and traditional music and special moments that were perfectly set in the fairy tale forest altar at the Wren's Nest in Murfreesboro, TN.  The reception that followed in Maple Barn was a testament to the love that friends and family have for this special couple. The decor was accented with personal touches from the bride's mother who planted succulents for her daughter's wedding in a collection of beautiful vintage glassware, some of which are still living in the brides home today. Dinner and dancing in the elegant barn completed this fairy tale wedding, proving that dreams do come true... even mine.

Thank you and love to you.

Rustic Elegance on the lake

Julia and Robert tie the knot at a beautiful lakeside wedding.

Julia's vision and attention to detail brought this soft and elegant wedding to life. The romance of the wedding was accented with the natural touches of moss, fern leaves and the warm glow of candlelight. Helping to bring a rustic elegance to this sophisticated wedding was beautiful cream and peach roses accented with pops of blue, cool purples, and Queen Ann's lace.

Julia and her bridesmaids carried lush bouquets of roses while her father, the best man, and groomsman wore succulent boutonniere's. Julia surprised her groom with a lucky four leaf clover succulent boutonniere.

Love and best wishes to Julia and Robert

The Secret Garden Wedding

A very sweet secret garden themed wedding at The Hermitage, but you may recognize this bride from the first iteration of our branding (See Denise Bann's business card). Every bit of whimsical and precious. Need we say more? I mean, it was a secret...Thank you, Olivia and Liam.

A Cheekwood Botanical Garden Wedding

You may recognize this bride the Nashville Lifestyles Magazine Winter/Spring 2014 issue. So sweet we could hardly keep from posting it twice. From Cheekwood Botanical Garden to the iconic Loveless Cafe. Couldn't find more Nashville charm if you tried.  Thank you, Morgan and Brett.
